Informatics Specialist (RN) / OR / Full-time

Job Description

Position Summary: This role manages the implementation and support of clinical information systems for the Surgical Services department, including upgrades, testing, and staff education. Collaboration with various departments is essential to enhance clinical information exchange and computerized medical records.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Licenses: Current New Mexico RN license.
• Experience: Minimum of five years nursing experience, including OR experience and three years in system applications with project lead experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in systems analysis, project management, database design, and effective communication.

Environment: Office and hospital setting with potential travel and extended hours during critical situations.
