Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time 1099 Contractor Physician passionate about providing high-quality healthcare in a challenging environment. This role involves diagnosing and managing the care of detainees/inmates, ensuring proper treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Examine and treat detainees referred by nursing staff.
• Manage medical program activities and prescribe medications.
• Document patient care and communicate with the medical team.
• Provide health education and maintain professional knowledge.
• Act as a liaison between correctional officials and public agencies.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree and state licensure required.
• Two years of experience preferred; U.S.-based residency completion required.
• Current DEA and D.P.S. registration needed.
• Strong diagnostic, critical thinking, and communication skills essential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Pay: $140.00 per hour.
