Job Description

Summary:

A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient education and the activities of ancillary nursing staff while upholding professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.

Requirements:

• Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in Louisiana, BLS certification within two weeks, NIHSS certification within specified timeframes, and Arrhythmia recognition certification within specified timeframes.
