Charge Registered Nurse – Stepdown

Job Description

We are hiring for a Charge Stepdown position on the night shift (7pm – 7am, every 4th weekend) at a hospital in Birmingham, AL. The role involves:

• Coordinating unit staffing and leading clinical objectives for quality patient care.
• Assigning and monitoring nursing and support staff, including performance evaluations.
• Assessing patient care needs and developing assignments.
• Evaluating patient care effectiveness and addressing complaints.

Requirements include a BLS certification within 30 days of hire and a valid RN license from the Alabama Board of Nursing, along with 1 year of relevant experience. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
