> REF:#b3779ce49b65d180Job Summary: The MRI Technologist will perform MR imaging procedures under general supervision, ensuring adherence to accepted standards and protocols. Responsibilities include patient care, education, documentation, and enforcing safety protocols. The role requires both independent and team collaboration.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct MR imaging procedures and explain them to patients.
- Obtain patient consent and maintain comfort and safety during exams.
- Administer contrast agents as needed and ensure timely documentation in PACS.
- Provide excellent customer service and perform equipment checks.
- Enforce magnetic field safety and maintain equipment cleanliness.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols.
- Proficiency in PACS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
Required Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a certified radiology technologist program.
- Current ARRT certification in MRI and CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of MRI clinical experience.
