The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for conducting and supervising physical therapy programs to help patients achieve optimal physical performance and manage disabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct treatment based on physician’s orders.
  • Evaluating patients and supervising therapy treatments by staff.
  • Recording patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicating with healthcare teams and training families in rehabilitation techniques.
  • Assisting in goal setting and home adaptations for patients.
  • Offering in-service education to healthcare team members.
  • Participating in clinical education for students.

    • Qualifications include a degree from an accredited physical therapy program and a valid state license. This is a full-time position with benefits, located in Prestonsburg, KY.
