Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time or PRN

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time or PRN Physical Therapist for our Southside office in Chesapeake, covering areas including Isle of Wight, Suffolk, and Smithfield. Responsibilities include:

• Implementing physical therapy services per physician’s plan of care.
• Conducting assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Instructing patients and caregivers on therapeutic appliances.
• Supervising assistants and aides during rehabilitation.
• Preparing clinical progress summaries and participating in discharge planning.

Qualifications include a valid Physical Therapy License in Virginia, CPR certification, and preferably two years of experience in home health. Strong communication and computer skills are essential. Pay starts at $38.00 per hour.
