The nurse is accountable for the quality of care provided and must utilize specialized knowledge and skills to meet the needs of patients of varying ages.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Physical Demands: The role requires physical agility, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and effective communication skills.
Essential Functions:
- Assess patient needs and formulate care plans.
- Implement care through direct patient interaction and team coordination.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
- Participate in education and mentoring of staff and patients.
Location: Surgery department
Schedule: Regular Part Time, 20 hours, Day Shift
