Registered Nurse

Job Description

Job Summary: This nursing position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care in line with organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse is accountable for the quality of care provided and must utilize specialized knowledge and skills to meet the needs of patients of varying ages.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Physical Demands: The role requires physical agility, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and effective communication skills.

Essential Functions:

• Assess patient needs and formulate care plans.
• Implement care through direct patient interaction and team coordination.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in education and mentoring of staff and patients.

Location: Surgery department
Schedule: Regular Part Time, 20 hours, Day Shift
