Med/Surg Graduate Nurse (Nights)

Job Description

This position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for a staff Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for directing and performing nursing care for assigned patients. The RN will report to the charge nurse and must effectively coordinate nursing care.

Essential Functions:

• Implement patient care interventions and document according to policy.
• Demonstrate positive customer service relations.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Assist co-workers as needed.
• Support the Medical Center’s Mission/Vision/Philosophy.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in Missouri or eligibility as a graduate nurse.
• Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Knowledgeable in patient growth and development across all life stages.
• Self-motivated and able to adhere to hospital policies.
