RN, Registered Nurse – 6N Cardiovascular IMC

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Nurse to provide both routine and complex care in a cardiac-focused unit specializing in post-operative care for cardiovascular patients. The role involves independent practice, critical thinking, and effective delegation to manage clinical situations. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while addressing complex psychological and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness.
• Document patient care and educate patients and families.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN License, BLS, ACLS, EKG, and NIHSS certifications required.

Work schedule is full-time, 7 PM – 7 AM.
