Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and delivering quality nursing care to a designated group of patients. Supervises LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and other clinical staff, and may serve as charge nurse. Provides care to patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Preferred one year of nursing experience
- Current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Crisis intervention training within 12 months
- TNCC certification for trauma facilities
