Summary:
This position involves performing medical ultrasound procedures as per physician orders, adhering to guidelines from the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and American Society Radiologic Technologists. The technologist will manage ultrasound equipment, provide patient care, and document procedures accurately. They will work under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director and assist in patient assessments and invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Document equipment calibration and ensure readiness of the ultrasound room.
  • Assist Radiologists in biopsy procedures and maintain accurate billing.
  • Adapt patient assessments to meet individual needs.
  • Demonstrate adherence to organizational values.

    • Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
  • 1+ year of experience in various ultrasound specialties preferred.
  • ARDMS or ARRT certification in Abdomen required within one year.
  • Current BLS certification required.
