Assistant Director of Nursing (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in administrative duties and oversee nursing staff. Ideal candidates will have a BSN (preferred), a valid RN or LPN license, and at least seven years of nursing experience, including two years in a supervisory role within long-term care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a liaison between nursing units and the DON.
• Monitoring staff performance and resident care.
• Assisting in budget preparation and personnel management.
• Conducting audits and ensuring compliance with care standards.
• Facilitating professional development for nursing staff.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of nursing regulations are essential.
