The Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) position prepares individuals to pass the Minnesota nursing assistant competency exam. Candidates must be enrolled in an approved training course upon hire and must pass the exam within four months to apply for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position. NAITs will perform CNA duties after completing at least 16 hours of core training.
