> REF:#98847d02da504309Position Purpose: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care to residents in Skilled, Intermediate, and Hospice Units, utilizing specialized skills in areas like dementia and restorative care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine care, including grooming and skin care.
- Administer food, fluids, and first aid as needed.
- Facilitate resident activities and document care provided.
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions.
- Participate in training new staff and adjust care based on individual needs.
Requirements:
- Current Oregon CNA license and CPR certification.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment: Moderate noise level with potential exposure to blood/body fluids.
