> REF:#9872dcd97d92c467The Medical Technologist II is responsible for performing moderate to highly complex testing to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating knowledge of clinical procedures and critical thinking skills.
- Operating and maintaining complex scientific equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control.
- Assuming charge responsibilities, including workflow monitoring and problem resolution.
- Conducting direct patient contact procedures such as phlebotomy and assisting with bone marrow collections.
- Supporting a self-directed team environment and providing training to new staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or military training, with certification preferred but not mandatory. The position is full-time, evening shift, with rotating weekends.
