Job Description

The System Director of Behavioral Health Nursing is responsible for leading and advising on nursing programming and operations within the Behavioral Health Service Line across the organization. Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a subject matter expert on Behavioral Health nursing.
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize inpatient behavioral health operations.
• Standardizing staffing ratios and nursing practices across units.
• Developing a float program for nursing staff.
• Leading recruitment and retention efforts for nursing staff.
• Assisting in strategic planning and budget activities.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintaining high patient satisfaction and a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, preferred Master’s degree, 5+ years of Behavioral Health Nursing experience, and relevant licensure. The position is full-time with benefits and requires relocation to Hazard, KY.
