This full-time position for a Clinic Triage Registered Nurse involves working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts and a rotation until 7 PM. The nurse will assist providers in delivering quality patient care, performing both direct and indirect patient care duties, and assessing patient needs via telephone to facilitate access to appropriate care.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide nursing care within RN scope in an outpatient clinic.
  • Assess emergency and non-emergency patient needs.
  • Screen patient calls and consult with providers.
  • Assist with chronic disease coordination and patient advocacy.
  • Order medications and manage referrals.
  • Promote wellness and provide health information.

    • Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license in Iowa and BLS certification.
  • Two years of clinic experience preferred.
  • Proficient in computer use.
