Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication, speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. They work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions tailored to clients’ needs.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • State license and ASHA CCC credentials.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics.
  • Strong physical health for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Utilize various communication strategies and AAC systems.
  • Engage with families to promote communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in professional development.

SLPs must embody core values of love, sharing, growth, and hope in their practice.
