Job Description

Position: Certified Surgical Technician

Department: Operating Room

Schedule: 36 hours, Evenings, Every Third Weekend, Call Required

Sign-On Bonus:

• $10,000 for candidates with over 1 year of multi-specialty experience.
• $5,000 for candidates with less than 1 year or single specialty experience.

Position Summary: The surgical technician supports the surgical team by ensuring a safe, aseptic environment during procedures. Responsibilities include prepping and sterilizing rooms, transporting patients, passing instruments, and assisting medical staff.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or Armed Forces medic program.

Certification: Surgical Technician certification required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous surgical tech experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficient in medical terminology and computer use.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
