TCU Registered Nurse

Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (Part-Time, 32 hours/week, 11pm-7am) with a base pay of $40.00-$48.00, plus differentials of $6 for weekdays and $8 for weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise and evaluate direct resident care, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Provide clinical supervision to nursing assistants and LPNs.
• Prepare assignments for nursing assistants and ensure proper resident care.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance and manage call lights.
• Ensure timely physician orders and documentation.
• Conduct resident rounds and report issues to nursing supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Provide immediate assistance and intravenous therapy as required.

Prerequisites:

• Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Understanding of growth and development across the lifespan.
