Job Description

Job Summary: The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and staff nurses, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards to maintain high-quality care.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Supervise nursing staff, resolve conflicts, and manage staffing needs.
• Review and implement doctor’s orders for resident care.
• Assist with resident assessments and coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
• Address family concerns and update management on significant issues.
• Manage admissions and assist in emergencies.
• Request necessary supplies for the unit.

Qualifications: Must be a licensed RN in Florida with at least one year of supervisory experience and CPR certification. Preferred traits include being dedicated, a team player, detail-oriented, a leader, and a self-starter.
