Clinical Nurse (LPN – RN) Inpatient Rehab/ Full-Time

Job Description

Position Summary: Assists nursing staff in caring for hospitalized patients under direct supervision.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing school.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current New Mexico LPN license and BLS Certification (within 2 weeks of hire); other certifications within 6 months.
• Skills: Must pass LPN skills competency checklist; LPN IV Therapy Certification preferred; fluency in English required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months hospital experience.

Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases; works in a clean, ventilated, smoke-free environment with varied hours.

Physical Requirements: Ability to handle emergencies, stand/walk extensively, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
