Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides essential nursing care, assists physicians, administers medications, changes dressings, and monitors vital signs. The RN maintains patient records and participates in care planning as a primary or associate nurse, while leading support staff.

A9 is a 27-bed unit focused on neurological, thoracic, abdominal, and orthopedic trauma patients, serving as a stroke overflow unit. The role involves collaboration with a diverse healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Current Texas RN License, CPR, ACLS, EKG, and TNCC certifications required within specified timeframes
