Responsible for the pulmonary care of critical, non-critical, and chronically ill patients of all ages under physician supervision. Conducts patient assessments and implements respiratory care plans, performing various technical and diagnostic procedures throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities:
Includes but is not limited to:
- Emergency response (Code Blue and White)
- Airway management and suctioning
- Delivery of aerosolized drugs
- Ventilator management
- Oxygen delivery and monitoring
- Chest film and blood gas analysis
- Documentation and equipment maintenance
- Participation in CAP and JC surveys
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience preferred. RT or RCP License, BLS, ACLS, and RRT certification required. PRN work schedule.
