A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient teaching and ancillary nursing personnel while upholding professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.
Requirements:
- Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience: Six months of experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- AHA BLS Certification within 2 weeks.
- AHA ACLS Certification within 8 weeks.
- ENPC or PALS Certification within 12 months (18 for new grads).
- TNCC Course within 12 months (18 for new grads).
- Arrhythmia Recognition Course within 8 weeks.
