PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the delivery of therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic treatment per patients’ care plans.
• Assist in establishing restorative nursing programs.
• Plan and administer OT interventions.
• Educate patients and families on therapy roles.
• Monitor and document patient progress.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
• Valid Iowa license or eligibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
