Job Summary: The MRI Technologist will perform MRI and X-Ray exams under general supervision, adhering to established protocols and standards. Responsibilities include patient care, education, documentation, and ensuring safety in the magnetic field environment. The role requires both independent and team collaboration.
Specific Responsibilities:
Conduct MR and X-Ray imaging as per physician orders.
Complete patient screening and consent forms.
Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Administer contrast agents as needed.
Ensure timely documentation in PACS.
Communicate schedule changes to front desk staff.
Perform equipment checks and maintain cleanliness.
Participate in departmental meetings and comply with policies.
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma and certified radiology technologist program completion.
Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certifications.
Minimum 2 years of MRI clinical experience preferred.
