- Option 2: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am – 7:00 pm ET (staggered shift)
- No weekends, holidays, or call required
Job Summary:
The CNOR is responsible for planning, executing, directing, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring their needs are met and continuity of care is maintained throughout the surgical experience.
Qualifications and Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current Pennsylvania nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain ACLS within one year)
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience, with OR experience required
- CNOR certification within 6 months of hire
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
Essential Duties:
- Supervise and direct patient care in the operating room
- Perform scrub and circulating duties efficiently
- Assist with patient transport and positioning
- Maintain sterile environment and manage surgical supplies
- Report patient conditions and ensure proper medication administration
Physical Demands:
Moderate physical effort required, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies.
Work Environment:
Climate-controlled, but exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other hazards is possible. Stressful situations and irregular hours may occur.
