RN, Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Nurse to provide both routine and complex care in a collaborative clinical setting. The role involves independent practice, critical thinking, and effective delegation to manage patient care efficiently. The nursing team is cross-trained across Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Obstetrical Emergency Departments, ensuring comprehensive support for approximately 220 deliveries monthly.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment and care.
• Administering medications and monitoring treatment effectiveness.
• Documenting patient information and providing education to families.
• Ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN License and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP) required.
