Overview:
Provides basic respiratory therapy, diagnostics, and monitoring for patients of all ages.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Current Illinois licensure eligibility as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • RRT credential from the NBRC and current CPR certification.

    • Environmental Factors:
    Potential exposure to blood and body fluids.

    Physical Demands:
    Ability to walk, stand, kneel, lift patients, and perform tasks requiring fine motor control. Must have good hearing and visual acuity.

    Mental Demands:
    Ability to work under stress and maintain confidentiality.

    Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and establish care plans.
  • Provide care per respiratory standards and document patient progress.
  • Complete educational requirements and participate in staff development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
