Job Summary: The Director of Education is a Registered Nurse responsible for overseeing the Agency’s educational programs, including orientation and in-service training for staff.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key staff to ensure effective employee orientation and competency programs.
Develop and evaluate orientation programs for new personnel.
Plan and implement in-service and continuing education programs.
Coordinate mandatory annual in-service training.
Assess educational needs and develop corresponding programs.
Participate in the Agency Performance Improvement Committee.
Provide educational resources and maintain updated nursing knowledge.
Foster professional relationships and promote self-growth in the home health industry.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Nursing, preferably in Education.
3-5 years of recent home health experience and 1 year in a leadership or education role.
Experience in adult education and program development.
Strong knowledge of regulations and standards, including OASIS.
Self-directed with excellent communication skills.
Salary: $130,000
