The Evening OR Charge Nurse will coordinate evening OR cases, ensuring efficient operations without weekend or holiday shifts. Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent cases, managing elective surgeries, and maintaining communication with surgical teams and families. OR nurses provide comprehensive patient care during surgeries, acting as liaisons between families and surgeons, and managing documentation and supplies.
**Qualifications:**
- Licensed RN in Illinois
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to perform patient care tasks and withstand prolonged standing
- Exposure to hazardous materials in the work environment
