RN, Registered Nurse – 5NT Med/Surg Respiratory – PRN

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Nurse to provide both routine and complex care in a 36-bed medical-surgical unit, specializing in patients with respiratory disorders and post-operative care. This role involves independent practice, critical thinking, and effective delegation to manage clinical situations. Nurses will utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while addressing the psychological and social needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care.
• Administering medications and monitoring treatment effectiveness.
• Documenting patient information and providing education to patients and families.
• Ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; additional certifications needed within specified timeframes.
