Role Overview:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric consultation, treatment, and medication management, ensuring compliance with policies and state guidelines. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting care, and providing culturally sensitive treatment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Two years of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in psychiatry.
- Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner desired.
