Job Description

A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is needed to provide intermittent physical therapy to patients in their homes, following physician orders and care plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). Positions are available full-time or part-time at facilities in St. Charles County.

Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to agency policies and procedures.
• Administering prescribed physical therapy.
• Improving patient mobility and capabilities.
• Instructing patients and families on home care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited two-year program.
• Current state licensure.
• Preferred two years of experience.

Physical demands include heavy lifting and extended periods of standing.
