Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in clinical psychology with three years of licensed experience or equivalent training.
  • Active clinical psychologist licensure in Virginia required.
  • Preferred experience in crisis settings and with high-stress professions.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in electronic health records.
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background checks required.

    • Duties:

  • Provide behavioral health services to Chesterfield County employees.
  • Conduct psychological testing and counseling, including Fit-for-Duty and Return-to-Work evaluations.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support, including after-hours coverage.
  • Facilitate training and education for departments and assist peer support groups.
  • Build relationships across diverse professional backgrounds.

    • Shift:

  • Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with after-hours availability required.

    • Work Location:

  • Chesterfield County Employee Medical Center.
