CDL Driver

Job Description

Job Summary:

The CDL Driver operates trucks to pick up steel-sided flatbed or roll-off containers, transporting loads to customers or designated locations. Responsibilities include:

• Waiting to be loaded and driving loads to specified destinations.
• Driving semis around the yard and moving scrap material.
• Operating yard equipment as needed.
• Wearing necessary PPE and adhering to safety standards.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess Class A or B CDL and 1-3 years of experience.
• Able to lift 30-50 lbs, and 100+ lbs with assistance.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials preferred.
