UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for a 32-hour per week position with day shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing nutritional education to patients, families, and community groups under the Clinical Nutrition Manager’s direction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient and family needs and providing appropriate education.
  • Creating collaborative care plans with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Conducting clinical education classes for various groups.
  • Utilizing critical thinking for patient assessments and care.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics/Food and Nutrition.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Iowa or registry eligible.
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care and perform physical assessments.
