Registered Nurse RN / LPN

Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

• Current Florida LPN or RN license
• CPR Certification
• One year of long-term care experience preferred
• Experience with elderly, handicapped, or developmentally disabled adults preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage admissions and discharges during day shift
• Review daily case load with Med nurses
• Ensure completion of admission checklists
• Complete order entry and daily documentation for Med A residents
• Notify MD/NP of issues and review labs/x-rays
• Conduct skin and Braden inspections
• Assist with emergency support and incident documentation
• Manage pharmacy deliveries and attend care plan meetings
• Oversee staffing and compliance during weekends/holidays
