Summary:
Mammography Technologist performs various mammographic procedures while ensuring quality patient care and aligning with organizational values.
Responsibilities:
Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
Perform mammographic procedures using independent judgment.
Operate radiographic and support equipment.
Protect patients from radiation exposure.
Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures.
Maintain mammography equipment and supplies.
Identify abnormal anatomy and maintain quality control.
Adapt care methods to meet patient needs.
Adhere to CORE VALUES.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
1-3 years in Diagnostic Radiology; 1 year in Mammography preferred.
Registered in Radiography and Mammography.
Current state licensure and BLS required.
