We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in New Milford, NJ, to manage resident care and ensure quality outcomes in a long-term care, short-term rehab, skilled nursing, and sub-acute care environment.
Essential Duties:
Provide and direct rehabilitation care following accepted practices and standards.
Evaluate resident needs and develop effective treatment plans.
Coordinate treatment supervision with staff and other disciplines.
Participate in resident screenings and provide clinical feedback.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing records.
Assist with marketing and participate in training programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
Active PTA license in the state.
Preferred experience in older adult rehabilitation and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
