The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides direct treatment under physician direction.
  • Screens and evaluates residents to develop care plans.
  • Conducts rehabilitative programs to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Administers and interprets specialized tests.
  • Instructs residents and caregivers on skill practice.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Creates tailored tools and treatments for individual needs.
  • Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current state license and clinical competency certification.
  • Preferred one year of clinical experience.
