The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
Essential Duties:
Provides direct treatment under physician direction.
Screens and evaluates residents to develop care plans.
Conducts rehabilitative programs to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
Administers and interprets specialized tests.
Instructs residents and caregivers on skill practice.
Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
Creates tailored tools and treatments for individual needs.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current state license and clinical competency certification.
Preferred one year of clinical experience.
