A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient education and the activities of ancillary nursing staff while upholding professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.
Requirements:
- Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience: Six (6) months preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas nursing license; AHA BLS within 2 weeks; ACLS and Arrhythmia Recognition Course within 8 weeks of employment.
