Chief Medical Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to oversee medical activities in patient care services and liaise with the local medical community. The CMO will ensure continuity of hospice medical services, manage symptom control, and re-certify patients for Medicare Hospice benefits. This role includes serving as a medical resource for staff, patients, and families, and may involve an academic appointment at UCSF.

Qualifications:

• Licensed physician in California
• Board certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine preferred
• Understanding of hospice care principles

Pay Range: $320K – $365K annually
