Job Description

Job Summary: This nursing position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care in line with organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse is accountable for the quality of care provided by themselves and their team, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills to meet the needs of patients of various ages.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; PALS and STABLE preferred.

Physical Demands: Requires physical agility, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and effective communication skills.

Essential Functions:

• Assess patient needs and formulate care plans.
• Implement care through direct patient interaction and team coordination.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in education and mentoring of staff and patients.

Location: Great Plains Health – Women’s and Children
Schedule: Full Time, 12-hour shifts
