The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, engages in lifelong learning, and applies evidence-based practices to enhance care quality for complex patients.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts systematic assessments and implements individualized care plans based on scientific knowledge and standards.
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care as needed.
- Advocates for patients and families, ensuring understanding of rights and care processes.
- Supervises LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel while collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Maintains professional competency through ongoing education and adheres to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ED RN Critical Care, Urgent Care, or Paramedic roles.
- Telemetry experience or certification required.
- Associates Degree in Nursing and NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Must maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC and ENPC preferred.
Hours: Full Time, Various Shifts (7:00 am to 7:30 pm)
Salary: $38.16 – $47.70 per hour, with potential increases for additional certifications.
