Speech Therapist SLP with BONUS

Job Description

This position involves evaluating and treating residents and patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities, adhering to state and federal guidelines.

• Provide direct treatment under a physician’s direction based on a care plan.
• Screen and evaluate residents to develop appropriate care plans.
• Conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication and cognitive skills.
• Administer and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Instruct residents and caregivers on monitoring and practicing new skills.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete required documentation.
• Develop specialized tools and treatments for individual patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Certification in clinical competency.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
