> REF:#6b495922b522f7eeJob Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides in-home occupational therapy to patients based on physician orders and a care plan, under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Manager.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Certification from the National Certification Examination or eligibility for the AOTA National Registration Examination.
- Current state licensure and preferred two years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Improve patients’ physical disabilities and promote optimal living.
- Collaborate with home care personnel and supervise COTAs and Home Health Aides.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on therapy programs.
Working Environment: Primarily indoors in office settings and patient homes, requiring travel.
Risk Exposure: High risk due to direct patient care.
Lifting Requirements: Physical activities including standing and moderate lifting are essential.
