Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and Radiology Supervisor, the role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for physician evaluation and treatment, maintaining procedure records, and serving as a professional role model for student technologists.
Education and Training:
Graduation from an ultrasound program is required.
Preference for sonographers registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or registry-eligible candidates.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, physics, and knobology.
Ability to operate GE LOGIC E9 ultrasound equipment and position patients for optimal imaging.
Familiarity with hospital policies and departmental locations is essential.
Schedule: Full Time, Days, 3 – 12s Day Shift – no call.
